Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board

“Food is the ingredient that binds us together”. – unknown

I always love a good meat and cheese board. I think it’s delicious, light, fun, beautiful, and inviting!

I love hosting dinners and appetizer get-togethers. Adding colour and presenting any kind of dishes with colour and finishing touches I feel makes food more tasty and fun. I never thought I would write about “food” on its own but since it was Thanksgiving and that’s my favourite holiday get-together I wanted to make a large charcuterie Thanksgiving meat and cheese board with a bunch of my favourites and share my ingredients and how simple it is to make a board for any occasion! Whether you like your board simple and clean or busy and extra appealing, either way, it’s definitely a go-to!

Sometimes making a delicious tasty dish can get quite stressful in the kitchen. Making a charcuterie board is one of the most confident dishes anybody can make. It’s fast, easy, and fun. And because of that, you can do whatever you want with cheese, meat, fruits, crackers, dips, and vegetables.

On my board, the vegetables I like to have are:

Sun-dried tomatoes
Marinated mushrooms

My favourite meats are:

Thinly sliced chicken breast
Smoked beef
Smoked duck

I don’t eat pork but for my guests, I like to have prosciutto and salami for more selections.

Green grapes
Dragon fruits

Cracked peppers croccantini
Black olives costini
Sesame grissini
Apricot & Rosemary artisan crisps

Duck foie gras
Trout caviar
Spinach & artichoke dip
Artichoke & asiago dip

I usually have Havarti cheese and brie on my boards but this time I wanted to try something different so I have
Blue cheese
French Comte cheese

on my board

And I added some fresh market flowers with the board to brighten up Thanksgiving day!

There might be specific rules on how to make the perfect charcuterie board with how many items you should have each but the style of coming with your choice of flavour is what makes it fun!

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you will leave inspired!

Love & Light,
